Leanheat offers an automation platform for apartment heating, ventilation, and air conditioning (HVAC) systems. It’s an intelligent system that uses machine learning to optimize heating and energy use. However, what was missing was a way to integrate the solution easily, scalably, and securely with all kinds of apartment buildings to ensure that Leanheat could grow quickly.  

We created an integration solution from scratch that allows Leanheat’s smart system to communicate with any apartment building. Leanheat can connect with a building’s existing Internet network. If the building doesn’t have a network, we also created a method that can be easily deployed to enable connectivity. The solution is built to be secure so heating can’t be influenced by outside actors. We’re also in charge of improving the application continuously.
